VELNOX developed a new reinforced bearing solution for rotary harrows

VELNOX announces the development of a new generation of agricultural bearings, specifically designed for rotary harrows and other tillage equipment operating in extreme field conditions.

The new bearing solution was developed based on real operating conditions of modern agricultural machinery: constant vibration, impact loads, high levels of dust, moisture, and intensive seasonal operation.

According to VELNOX engineers, the main goal during development was not to create another standard catalog bearing, but to significantly increase the service life of the unit and reduce equipment downtime during the critical period of field work.

Key technical advantages of the new VELNOX solution

The new bearing features a special anti-corrosion protective coating that significantly improves resistance to moisture, fertilizers, and aggressive operating environments.

The bearing's internal space is filled with high-quality grease up to 80% of free volume, allowing stable lubrication even during prolonged operation in dusty conditions and at high temperatures.

The design features a reinforced five-lip contact seal on both sides, providing maximum protection against dust, dirt, moisture, and plant residue ingress.

Engineers paid special attention to bearing performance under high radial and axial loads typical of rotary harrows and other heavy tillage equipment.

Based on internal testing and operating condition analysis, the new VELNOX solution enables:

  • extended bearing unit service life;
  • reduced emergency equipment stops;
  • lower service and bearing replacement costs;
  • more hectares processed per bearing unit;
  • significantly reduced total equipment operating costs.
VELNOX emphasizes that the company's philosophy remains unchanged: creating real engineering solutions for agricultural machinery instead of standard universal products.
